On Boxing Day 2004 we put our eldest dog, Polly, to sleep. At ten
years of age, Polly had been diagnosed with lung cancer some six
weeks earlier. Polly had come into our family as a six week old
Guide Dog Puppy. We had taken on the responsibility of Puppy-raising
Polly for the Guide Dog Association of Victoria.

Having qualified as a Guide Dog, Polly was then chosen to become a
breeding female for Guide Dogs Victoria, bearing 36 puppies in total.
Following her passing, we wanted to produce a Memorial card,
highlighting her life.
It was during the process of production of that card that the idea was
born for
